COVID Incident Report
August 28, 2020
A client of Ox-Bow’s, who was on campus August 9-21st , was confirmed to have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The client reported receipt of a positive test result on August 23rd, 2020 followed by a reported receipt of a negative test result on August 27th, 2020. Ox-Bow’s campus management was notified on the same date of the test results.
As is Ox-Bow’s stated COVID policy and procedures, all non-staff was asked to leave campus within 24 hours of the initially reported symptoms, informed of the test results and encouraged to pursue personal testing. At Ox-Bow’s expense all Ox-Bow staff who were on campus between August 9-21st were tested immediately and within 5-6 days of their first test.
Ox-Bow has been, and will continue, taking steps to help reduce the risk of exposure and mitigate the spread of the virus. Those steps include:
Frequently sanitizing the property’s programming, service and common areas and other high traffic common element touch points;
Providing hand sanitizer to clients and in common areas of the building.
Enforcing compliance with Michigan’s state order for cloth face coverings
Practicing social distancing or maintaining a distance of at least six (6) feet from any
other person
Following CDC guidelines in the operation of our food services
